CLIMATE CHANGE & YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH:
WHERE WE ARE & AND WHAT WE CAN DO
Saturday,
September 7, 2024 via Zoom
8:30
AM – 12:30 PM
Climate change
is impacting the physical and mental health of every young person in every corner of the world – including here in Massachusetts.
As the crisis deepens, climate change will have mounting consequences for child psychiatrists, the youth and family we serve,
and the practice of child psychiatry. Join us to learn about the traumatic, neuropsychiatric, and psychological effects of
climate change, about the importance of centering equity and climate justice, and about what we, as child psychiatrists, can
do to mitigate the crisis and to bolster resilience in our systems and our patients.
