Since 1962 a tradition of advocacy & care for children & adolescents
Thank you for your donation!
The New England Council of Child and Adolescent
Psychiatry was founded in 1962, as the largest regional arm of The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
At that time an Endowment Fund was put together to help provide monies for programs originally. Over the years, the
Endowment has been used to:
Fund
the cost of membership for all Resident/Training Members during their tenure with NECCAP (one of the few RO's that does not
charge members in training,
Help
fund CME credits for programs, cost of which has gone up dramatically
Provide honarariums for outside speakers.
Fund our scholarship program to send families to Advocacy Day in Washington DC with one
of our Delegates to tell their stories
With the economy
over the past few years, our Endowment has suffered greatly both with the market and with a lack of donations. Any and
all donations are welcome and are tax deductible. Your generosity of spirit to this cause is greatly appreciated and
helps NECCAP to continue providing the great programs and service to our membership as well as the population we serve. Thank
you.
